Capital Adequacy Manager (f/m/x)

Capital Steering plays a central role in managing the capital position of RBI Group and RBI AG. The team is responsible for calculating, monitoring, planning, and steering capital across RBI Group, RBI AG, and the network units, ensuring its effective optimization. In addition, Capital Steering oversees strategic capital management concepts, including major capital transactions within the Group and the management of the structural FX position.

Your mission at RBI:

  • Take over responsibility for the accurate calculation of the actual own funds ratios for RBI Group and RBI AG as well as MREL ratios for RBI Resolution Group AT in accordance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
  • Prepare comprehensive capital presentations for top level management and investors of RBI Group, providing insightful and transparent information on relevant drivers for the capital ratios.
  • Coordinate ad-hoc requests from multiple internal and external stakeholders concerning RBI Group's statutory reporting, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Analyse regulatory and legal changes and their potential implications, effectively assessing their impact on RBI's own funds calculation and offering appropriate recommendations for implementation.
  • Enhance the data process for the regulatory own funds capital ratio calculation and prepare respective business data lineage according to BCBS 239 requirements.
  • Collaborate within a cohesive team on specialized initiatives, fostering a lasting synergy between financial expertise and IT proficiency.

Your core competencies:

  • Academic foundation in business administration or a comparable field.
  • Relevant professional experience within the banking industry (typical background: 3-5 years), having knowledge in accounting and risk management as well as respective data processes.
  • Knowledge in banking regulations, including CRR, CRD, EBA policies and BWG.
  • Understanding of IFRS and UGB regulations for banks and their impact on regulatory reporting.
  • Experienced user of MS Office and ability to work with SQL to handle and analyze data.
  • Demonstrates autonomy in managing tasks while contributing effectively in collaborative settings.
  • Communicates clearly in both German and English, adapting messages to different audiences.

  • Experience in creating Power BI reports and dashboards.
