Your Role:

  • As local HR BP & Country HR head for Austria & Portugal you are driving the country people agenda across organization effectiveness, workforce planning, talent, succession, leadership development, employee relations, and change management

  • You act as strategic HR partner to leaders, ensuring strong alignment between business priorities, country needs, and people strategies

  • You are used to operate effectively in a matrix environment, balancing country HR leadership responsibilities with global business HRBP accountabilities to shape people decisions and position the organization for future needs

  • Manage our external payroll provider and take all necessary actions to ensure proper payroll processing, including preview calculations/forecasts and accrual management

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree required with minimum 5 years of relevant HRBP experience

  • Experience in HR operations and/or a Global HRBP role in a fast-changing and matrix environment is required, ideally in the pharmaceutical or life science industry

  • Proven experience as a strategic HR partner on organizational design, talent strategy, succession planning, leadership development

  • Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in a complex matrix structure, balancing country leadership and global business HRBP responsibilities

  • Proven experience in change management and navigating complex transformation projects with internal & external stakeholders

  • Strong hands-on mentality and execution skills in a high-change business setting

Pay range for this position starts with 80.000 € pa.. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position is eligible for a performance-based bonus.
