We are looking for an engineer who is passionate about bringing electronic products from development into reliable, scalable high-volume production. In this role, you will drive the industrialization of our electronic systems, working closely with development, manufacturing partners, and suppliers to ensure robust, cost-efficient, and production-ready solutions. At smaXtec, we develop a health monitoring system based on a low-power wireless sensor network that enhances herd health through AI-driven insights and smart algorithms.
YOUR ROLE
Develop and maintain Linux-based LoRaWAN gateways
Refine and streamline the CI/CD pipeline for gateway development
Design, implement, and enhance a robust fleet management system
Work hands-on with both hardware and firmware development
Implement comprehensive unit testing and build test setups for product evaluation
WHAT YOU BRING
A proactive problem-solver who enjoys working with cutting-edge technologies
Solid experience with Linux and Python
Completed technical education (ICE, Informatics, Software Development) or equivalent practical experience
Comfortable using Git in your daily workflow
Familiarity with IoT infrastructure is a plus
Solution-oriented mindset with great communication skills
Experience in firmware development in C is beneficial
