As an In-house Repair Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, testing, and maintaining state-of-the-art medical devices at our headquarters in Graz. Working closely with colleagues from Quality Assurance, R&D, and Technical Support, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Your responsibilities:
Perform repairs and maintenance on medical devices at our headquarters
Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot faults in complex mechatronic systems
Carry out functional testing and quality inspections after repairs
Document repair activities, test results, and service records
Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Research & Development, and other internal departments
Support continuous improvement initiatives for repair processes and workflows
Create and maintain technical documentation, including repair and service instructions
Your Profile:
Completed technical education (e.g. apprenticeship, HTL, or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field
Previous experience in a similar technical role is an advantage, ideally within the medical device industry
Experience in repairing and maintaining electronic and/or mechanical systems
Strong knowledge of electronics; mechanical understanding is a plus
Excellent troubleshooting and technical analytical skills
Passion for solving technical problems and working hands-on with complex systems
Independent, structured, and detail-oriented working style
Open, communicative personality with strong interpersonal skills
Quality-focused mindset with a strong commitment to efficiency and continuous improvement
Good written and spoken English skills
Good Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Willingness to travel occasionally (the role is primarily based at our headquarters in Graz)
