We’re looking to expand our technical project management team and are looking for a digital enthusiast with drive for innovation, implementation and customer satisfaction.

Technical Project Manager (full time)

Dimetor’s solutions bridge the gap between telecommunications and aviation / PNT / defense, leveraging highly scalable platforms that enable, assure, and protect autonomous operations and critical infrastructure across air and ground.

We provide 3 platforms, AirborneRF, NAVSentry and AirborneAI, that we license to a global customer base. These platforms redefine what’s possible in unmanned aerial systems ( advanced air and ground operations the protection of critical infrastructure and defense against drones electronic warfare by combining cutting-edge technology, analytics, AI and automation.

What challenges await you?

  • As Technical Project Manager, you are responsible for the technical solution in a customer project and first contact person for technical matters

  • You will take care of the analysis and translation of customer requirements into system requirements

  • You will have the technical overview of individual projects ( resources, etc)

  • You need to be or become proficient in all the technologies we’re using

  • You will be responsible for a smooth acceptance of the solution at the end of the project

  • You are handling the technical risk management including security and safety aspects

  • You will work on commercial requirements in close cooperation with the sales manager

  • You will coordinate with the DevOps and R&D team translating the customer needs into requirements

  • You will communicate internally with the whole team as well as externally with customers and partners

What do we expect from you?

  • An academic background in computer science, communications engineering or a related field

  • Several years of experience in an interface function in IT / software / telecom customer project business (e. as a system engineer, technical solution manager, technical project manager, system architect)

  • Interest in business trips for customer interactions and acceptance

  • Team-oriented and structured personality with a confident and representative appearance

  • Solution-oriented thinking and willingness to make decisions

  • You have a solid technical understanding of telecom systems such as LTE/5G

  • You have an entrepreneurial disposition; you are able to creatively solve hard problems, get up to speed quickly, and bring a curious, can-do zest to all the challenges you face.

  • You have a positive, can-do attitude that you harness to rally a team to make impressive progress day after day.

  • You approach the position with flexibility to meet the needs of the business.

Extra bonus points

  • Knowledge of mobile telecommunication technologies such as LTE / 5G and operational experience with OSS data

  • Aviation / defense background or basic knowledge of aviation / defense terms and procedures

  • Understanding and experience in cloud native software solutions
