Based on technical requirements we develop creative design ideas, detail them to thorough concept designs and select the most promising concept, which then is refined by numerical simulation and optimisation of its dynamic, thermal and functional behaviour to achieve outstanding performance. Comprehensive documentation is produced for description and production of the mechanism. Our production partners produce the parts which we then assemble, entirely test and deliver to the customer. Senior Systems Engineer for Space Mechanisms (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities

As a senior systems engineer for space mechanisms you will lead complex development projects as a technical expert. Your responsibilities include

• Close collaboration with customers and suppliers on engineering topics and overseeing the technical goals
• Finding efficient technical solutions
• Establishing of mechanical designs using 3D CAD (Siemens NX)
• Structural and thermal analyses (Simcenter 3D, Nastran, Ansys, Systema)
• Documentation of mechanism designs and analysis results
• Generation of manufacturing drawings and definitions
• Coordination and supervision of production, assembly and testing
• Support of bidding activities with concepts, estimates, and technical inputs

Your competence

As a senior systems engineer you have a passion for high‑quality engineering, and are willing to commit to challenging long-term development projects, and you have

• A Master's degree (or equivalent) in mechanical, thermal, structural or similar engineering fields
• 5+ years of experience in development in a high tech engineering field
• Good communication skills
• Confident handling of a CAD and an analysis tool
• Experience in drafting and assembly design

nengineering GmbH is located in Vienna. The minimum base salary for this position starts at EUR 5.000,- gross per month.

Salary

The actual minimum salary is 5,000 EUR gross per month (on a 40-hour basis), the actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience. The salary is paid 14 times per year.
