To address the increasing demand for our products, we seek backend software engineers with experience in building scalable Python backends using FastAPI, Pydantic and similar technologies. Your FUTURE WORKPLACE and TECH STACK
- You are part of an agile development team.
- You develop high quality Python APIs, tested with pytests, containerized via Docker, deployed via Helm/ArgoCD on K8s, monitored via OpenTelemetry/Sentry/...
- You are building state-of-the-art data visualization platforms with a real impact in biomedical research.
- You work in a new office building in Linz, Austria.
Your SKILLS
- You have a formal education in a technical area (informatics, software engineering, computer science, telematics, etc.)
- You have several years of professional experience with API development in Python, specifically FastAPI, Pydantic, and SQLAlchemy.
- You are familiar with advanced topics such as REST API design, database integration and efficient querying, performance monitoring, testing, etc.
- You are an independent and reliable team player.
- You show excellent knowledge of English (German optional).

Salary
The target compensation for this position is € 56,000 per year. In practice, the compensation package will be adjusted to your qualifications and experience.
