Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Production Support: Ensure smooth manufacturing flows and provide hands‑on line support
• Microfabrication: Execute and log process steps in ion‑trap microfabrication
• Measurement: Conduct metrology measurements including electron microscopy, ellipsometry, and reflectometry
• Data Analysis : Evaluate measurement data to identify trends and deviations
• Optimization: Support process optimization and failure analysis
• Interface: Serve as the link between technology development and unit process engineers
• Documentation: Maintain lab and process documentation according to standards

Further Information:

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)

Duration: At least 12 months

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Education: Actively studying a technical degree at an Austrian university or university of applied sciences, for example physics or electrical engineering
• Language Skills: English fluent, German is a plus
• Interests: Genuine motivation for quantum technologies and semiconductor processes
• Work Quality: Careful, precise, and reliable way of working
• Teamwork: Collaborative mindset combined with an independent working approach

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2026-05-01.pdf).
