Sourcing Group Leadbuyer (f/m/d)

In this exciting role, you will take ownership of selected sourcing groups in the Hydraulics & Equipment category and act as the driving force for strategic procurement initiatives. As a central interface to suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will shape global sourcing strategies, optimize processes, and ensure long-term supplier performance. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive the development and implementation of global sourcing strategies for selected product and sourcing groups
• Independently manage projects and ensure the professional steering of assigned procurement areas
• Oversee supplier management from both technical and commercial perspectives
• Conduct Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses to enable data-driven decisions
• Actively contribute to process optimization initiatives within Strategic Procurement (Process Excellence)

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Several years of professional experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or a comparable role (experience in hydraulics or technical procurement is a strong advantage)
• Technical and/or commercial education (e.g., technical apprenticeship, HTL, technical college, university degree)
• Strong IT user skills, ideally including SAP R/3, SAP S/4HANA and MS Office
• Fluent English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with willingness to travel internationally

Minimum yearly gross salary according to the Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53.241,02 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
