Senior Specialist Product Marketing (w/m/d)
Product Marketing at PALFINGER is continuously growing to strengthen our global product and market strategy. To reinforce our team in Bergheim (Salzburg), we are looking for a strategic, structured, and collaborative Product Marketer who will own global product positioning and go-to-market strategies for complex industrial products. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of Product Management, Sales, and Marketing, translating complex technical solutions into clear, differentiated market positioning across global markets.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and own global product marketing and positioning strategies across the entire product lifecycle to drive sustainable business growth
- Lead and shape go-to-market strategies in close collaboration with Product Management, Sales, and Regional Marketing, ensuring alignment, strategic clarity, and global consistency
- Drive global product launches for complex products and services, managing timing, narrative, and readiness, with structured handovers to regional teams
- Develop product positioning and messaging frameworks that translate technical features into customer-relevant benefits and clear competitive differentiation
- Act as a strategic partner and project leader, collaborating across Product Management, Sales, and Service to align perspectives, manage cross-functional initiatives, and deliver against objectives, timelines, and budgets
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, or Commercial Strategy within complex B2B or industrial environments (e.g., machinery, automotive, equipment).
- Proven track record in product positioning, go-to-market strategy, and portfolio-level strategic thinking.
- Strong capability to manage complexity -- navigating multiple stakeholders and long development or launch cycles within a global organization.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, with fluency in English; additional languages considered an advantage.

Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53.241,02 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
