Public Affairs and Communications Specialist

Vienna, Austria

Your Mission:

  • Public Affairs work: Macro-environment monitoring, engagement with industry associations, government stakeholders, routine work report in power point/excel form, etc.
  • Supporting Public Relations related tasks such as communication with media, press releases and crisis communication
  • Administration work: appointment coordination, meeting preparation, document archives, work report/summary, request/negotiation for quotation, end to end invoice payment, and other related task.
  • Support project logistics management: organization of events, discussions with associations and other industry stakeholders in industry meetings, etc.

Your Profile:

  • Holds at least a Bachelor's degree in the related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in public affairs or corporate communications in Austria, ideally within an international company or government-related environment.
  • Proactive, responsible, and self-driven communicator with strong ownership of tasks.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong media and stakeholder relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Creative, collaborative, and adaptable -- thrives in a multicultural team environment.
  • Fluent in German and business fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes.
