The OPS Master Data Governance Specialist serves as a critical bridge among the business stakeholders in Operations, Procurement and Supply Chain departments, along with IT, ensuring comprehensive system solutions that align processes, data, and people. The role serves as a second level support for the material master data tool and processes.
You'll be responsible for process and data governance for material master data (material type VISIT - Coolers and Vending Machines, Electrical Appliances, Event Infrastructure, Textile etc). You'll own the end-to-end governance of material master data for VISIT (visibility items), setting standards and enforcing accuracy across systems. In addition, you'll ensure all new process requirements comply with governance policies before they move into production systems, as well as provide accountability and guidance for master data quality. Finally, you'll maintain and update data model documentation and process documentation, ensuring governance practices are clearly defined and accessible.
You'll deliver second-level support for the material master data tool and processes related to material type VISIT (visibility items), guiding teams through complex issues and ensuring smooth resolution. You'll manage ticketing, ensuring timely resolution and prioritisation of issues, while recognising that certain tickets may be converted into projects or system enhancements for improvement.
You'll handle IDoc monitoring tickets to keep data pipelines responsive, and error-free. Finally, you'll drive root-cause resolution, turning tickets into permanent fixes and scalable enhancements to prevent recurring issues.
You'll serve as a critical bridge among business stakeholders in Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain, along with IT. You'll also ensure comprehensive system solutions that align processes, data, and people across departments. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline material master data processes. Finally, you'll also communicate effectively to align data standards, governance practices, and process improvements.
You'll lead continuous improvement initiatives for material master data and related processes. You'll also proactively identify gaps in data or processes, proposing practical and scalable solutions. Furthermore, you'll define quality checks and preventive measures into workflows, and finally you'll deliver short trainings or knowledge-sharing sessions to stakeholders as part of rolling out new enhancements, ensuring smooth adoption and consistent understanding across teams.
Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,446 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
