You want to actively be part of creating new products and help shape our future product portfolio? As a Product Design Intern within our innovation team, you'll learn through doing and have the opportunity to contribute significantly to all aspects of the design process. We're looking for someone with real creative flair, a passion for learning, and a drive to develop innovative, user-focused products and experiences.
Your Mission
Research & identify new project opportunities to provide inspiration and project direction.
Gain a deep understanding of our user journey to identify opportunities for innovation.
Work alongside engineering, product managers, and marketing to contribute across our full product design process.
Compile engaging, on-brand presentations and communicate your ideas effectively to the team.
Craft beautiful, user-focused design stories that could translate into tangible concepts.
Generate concepts from sketch to prototype.
Create 3D CAD to evaluate your ideas or to create fast prototypes.
Create handmade prototypes (e.g., card, foam) when required.
Design innovative packaging concepts for new and existing products.
Engage in our CMF process (color, material, finish) - ideation, development & sampling.
Actively participate in the sourcing and maintenance of a comprehensive materials library, including discovery into new material resources, processing & technologies (including sample management and continual labelling and tracking).
Support the wider team on a range of project tasks.
Your skills
You are currently enrolled in a design-focused programme (product design, industrial design, or other related programme).
You can demonstrate a basic level of proficiency in sketching, model making, 2D design development (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), 3D modelling (Solidworks / Fusion 360) & rendering (KeyShot).
You are open-minded, passionate about the subject, with a strong willingness to learn.
You are an effective communicator who is driven to bring fresh perspectives to the table.
You are creative, forward-thinking, with an exceptional eye for detail.
You have an affinity with user-focused design.
You possess the ability to communicate ideas effectively.
You are motivated to gain insights to influence the woom design process and company culture.

You are fluent in English. German is a definite plus.

Salary
For this position, we offer you a gross monthly salary starting at EUR 1,518.00 on a full-time basis. Of course, we take into account your individual qualifications and experience and are willing to pay an appropriate overpayment. We will be happy to discuss details in person.
