The opportunity

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Sales Operations Manager who will play a key role in driving commercial excellence, optimizing sales performance, and supporting strategic business growth across the Austrian market.
In this position, you will act as a trusted business partner to Sales, Key Account Management, and Business Unit stakeholders by enhancing sales processes, leveraging data-driven insights, and enabling efficient execution of commercial activities.
How you´ll make an impact
Drive continuous improvement of sales processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, transparency, and commercial performance
Analyze sales performance, pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and key business metrics, providing actionable insights to management
Own and optimize CRM processes and tools, ensuring data quality, user adoption, and alignment with business objectives
Support local Key Account Managers in customer interactions, tender management, and prequalification activities
Develop accurate sales forecasts and identify growth opportunities through data analysis and market insights
Identify and evaluate tenders and business opportunities in energy transmission, distribution, and renewable energy markets
Train and support sales teams in the use of digital tools and AI applications.
Implement and manage sales enablement tools, reporting solutions, and digital sales technologies
Collaborate closely with Business Units, Finance, Marketing, Market Management, and other stakeholders to drive commercial initiatives
Conduct market and competitive analyses to support strategic decision-making and business development
Promote commercial excellence through process standardization, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
Your background
Bachelor’s or Master degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Renewable Energy, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Sales Management, Project Management, or a comparable analytical role
Experience within the energy, electrical, industrial, automation, or manufacturing sectors is highly preferred
Hands-on experience with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce, including data management and process optimization
Strong analytical skills with experience in sales reporting, forecasting, KPI management, and business performance analysis
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting/visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Strong interest in digitalization and artificial intelligence
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects in a dynamic, matrix-driven environment
Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset

Salary
Attractive, market-oriented compensation package. The final salary may exceed the minimum salary defined by the Austrian collective agreement for the Electrical and Electronics Industry for this position (4.645,81€ gross per month on a full-time basis), depending on qualifications and experience
