Build the Operational Backbone of MAM’s Digital Future

As Expert Digital Operations, you will play a key role in shaping how products move through our digital channels. You will professionalize fulfilment operations across multiple European markets, shape scalable 3PL and partner structures, connect WMS/OMS-related systems, and create the transparency needed for reliable, data-driven execution.
This is an expert role with a broad cross-functional scope. You will work across Digital Commerce, Marketplace, Supply Chain, IT, country organizations and external partners to solve complex operational challenges, establish new standards and build scalable capabilities for MAM’s digital growth.
You will join at a time when many structures are still being defined. This is a greenfield mandate, not a pure optimization role. You will act as an experienced individual contributor and key expert contact for digital operations topics, contributing directly to MAM’s global digital commerce ecosystem.
Your mission
Develop and continuously improve MAM’s digital fulfillment and operational capabilities across digital commerce channels
Establish scalable standards, processes and best practices for fulfillment, order management, inventory visibility and operational execution across multiple European markets
Manage and further develop of Third-Party Logistics Provider (3PL), fulfillment and technology partner structures
Improve real-time inventory visibility and operational transparency across digital channels, systems and country organizations
Identify operational dependencies, risks and bottlenecks across systems, processes, partners and stakeholders — and drive their resolution in a structured and solution-oriented way
Definie and steer fulfillment KPIs, cost drivers and operational performance metrics to enable reliable, data-driven decision-making
Translate complex operational requirements into clear process concepts, implementation priorities and scalable operating model
Support of WMS/OMS-related integrations and system improvements.
Collaborate with country organizations to enable effective local execution, improve operational performance and resolve cross-market challenges
Cross-functional alignment with Digital Commerce, Marketplace, Supply Chain, IT, country organizations and external partners
Your profile
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field
10+ years of experience in supply chain, fulfillment, logistics, e-commerce operations or digital operations environments
Strong ability to navigate complexity, interdependencies and uncertainty while making well-founded operational recommendations
Hands-on experience in managing 3PL providers, fulfillment partners, warehouse operations or complex operational ecosystems
Strong understanding of warehouse, fulfillment, order management, WMS/OMS integrations and inventory visibility processes
Proven experience in operational transformation, process standardization or multi-country implementation projects
Strong financial and KPI mindset, including fulfillment economics, cost drivers, vendor performance and operational efficiency
Experience working across multiple countries, stakeholder groups and matrix organizations
Ability to act as a trusted expert and point of contact across teams, while actively sharing knowledge and contributing to the development of digital operations capabilities
Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to translate complex operational challenges into practical solutions
Great communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align business, IT, country organizations and external partners
Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach to building, improving and scaling processes
Fluency in English

Salary
For this position, the collective agreement for employees in the plastics processing industry provides for a minimum monthly gross salary of EUR 4.135,07 based on full-time employment of 40 hours per week. The classification will be made upon submission of the relevant documentation in employment group IV, employment group year after 10 years.
Your actual salary will be discussed with you personally and will reflect your individual qualifications and experience. We do not settle for the minimum — and we are confident you do not either.
