Location: Vienna, Austria
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 7+ years
Reports To: Managing Director
Team Leadership: 5–10
About the Role
As CTO of Tamburi Holding, you own the entire technology stack — from the products our customers and partners use to the IT backbone that keeps the business running every day.
On the product side, you set architectural direction across smart locker systems, customer-facing mobile apps, websites, onboarding portals, internal service-center tools, and ERP systems. On the infrastructure side, you own the backbone — telephony, databases, identity, networking, endpoints — across two office locations and a hybrid cloud + on-premise estate.
Your core mandate is to bring standardization, structuring, and modularity to a heterogeneous landscape: clear architectural patterns, reusable components, and synergies between software and infrastructure that compound into speed, quality, and scalability.
You report directly to the Managing Director and are the single point of accountability for all technology decisions.

Continuously improve performance, security, scalability, and CI/CD pipelines
IT Infrastructure & Operations

Operate and evolve MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL database environments
Administer Microsoft 365 / O365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, MFA)

Manage firewalls and networking across both office locations
Manage the client environment: Windows laptops & desktops, standard printers, Zebra industrial printers, and card printers
