Role Overview
As a Cost & Quality Manager (Quantity Surveyor), you will support the cost and quality management across our developments, acting as a key control function from design through construction to project completion. You will work closely with the in-house Cost & Quality Manager, ensuring transparency, cost efficiency, and high-quality standards across all project phases.
Your Responsibilities
Cost & Commercial Control
Support cost planning, budgeting, and ongoing cost controlling across multiple projects
Review cost estimates, calculations, and perform quantity checks
Validate invoices, payment applications, and variation orders
Assist in preparing cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and variance analyses
Contribute to maintaining a structured and transparent cost control system
Procurement & Tendering
Support tendering processes, bid evaluations, and contract awards
Review tender documents, scopes, and commercial conditions
Assist in identifying optimization potential and cost efficiencies during procurement
Quality & Project Oversight
Support the monitoring of construction quality and compliance with project standards
Assist in reviewing planning documents, specifications, and execution details
Participate in site visits and document project progress and quality performance
Project Control & Coordination
Act as a supporting control function across the full project lifecycle (design, procurement, construction, completion)
Work closely with project management, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment on cost, quality, and timelines
Support the other Cost & Quality Manager in reporting to internal stakeholders and senior management
International Project Monitoring
Regularly travel to Dublin to monitor project progress on site
Review and report on quality, quantities, and cost development of ongoing projects
Your Profile
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate, or a related field
7 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management
Experience in building construction, ideally residential or similar asset classes
Solid understanding of cost control, procurement processes, and construction quality standards
Experience in reviewing project documentation, tenders, and construction progress
Willingness to travel regularly to Dublin
Strong analytical and structured working style
Excellent communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset
Very good command of German and English

Salary
Competitive salary starting from €70,000 gross per year, with significant development opportunities and exposure to international projects.
