Librarian for Digital University Library (f/m/d)*
Your tasks and responsibilities:
Licensing and procurement of electronic (literature) resources, including budget monitoring, contract negotiations, and representation of the IT:U Library in the "Kooperation E-Medien Österreich" (KEMÖ).
Supplier and publisher management: maintaining contacts, evaluating offers, and managing open access licenses.
Indexing and administration of electronic resources, including metadata management and inventory tracking.
Support & service: second-level support for users and general administrative tasks (e.g., card management, fee billing, statistics).
Optional: Teaching information literacy in collaboration with the IT:U Writing Center.
Your strengths and skills:
A Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Studies or an equivalent qualification
Experience in licensing electronic resources for academic libraries, completion of librarian training, or an equivalent qualification
Proven experience working with ALMA and PRIMO
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Fluent written and spoken English and German at a minimum C1 level

Competitive compensation starting from € 38.000 yearly gross salary.
