Accountant - O2C & General Ledger (f/m/d)

The Mission: Be the Heartbeat of our Finance Engine

At Foodora, we move fast. As our Accountant, you are the technical and operational engine behind our financial flows. You are a versatile Finance Specialist--a strategic architect who masters the complexities of the Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle while ensuring the absolute structural integrity of our General Ledger. You will play a vital role in the wider Finance team, bridging the gap between high-volume platform transactions and traditional Year-End financial reporting.

Your Daily "Fuel" (Responsibilities)

• O2C & Billing Orchestration: Act as the primary strategic interface between our local Vienna teams and our international Shared Service Center (SSC).
• Quality Command: Monitor the precision of billing runs, refunds, and Jira ticket resolutions to ensure uninterrupted and seamless operational workflows.
• Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to both UGB and IFRS.
• Audit Mastery: Provide essential assistance during external audits by preparing documentation, performing Balance Sheet (BS) reviews, and ensuring account reconciliation integrity.
• Authority Reporting & Compliance: manage all official reporting to Austrian authorities, including the processing of wage garnishments (Pfändungen) and insolvencies, as well as maintaining direct correspondence with the Austrian Tax Authorities and Statistik Austria.

Troubleshooting & Projects: Lead O2C-related projects and perform root-cause analyses to close process gaps and drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• The Foodorian Spirit: You thrive in high-energy environments, possess a "can-do" attitude, and aren't afraid to "go further".
• The Hybrid Expert: You have deep knowledge of O2C cycles but feel equally at home performing complex BS reconciliations.
• The Tech Native: You are a power-user in SAP S/4HANA, Jira, and Excel.
• The Diplomat: You are service-minded and communicative, capable of managing diverse stakeholders with ease.
• The Foundation: You hold a Bachelor's degree in Economics (or similar). Experience in multinational companies or SSC environments is your "unfair advantage".
• The Linguist: You have native/business-level German (essential for authority contact) and are fluent in English

Salary

Competitive Package: We offer an annual gross salary starting at EUR 50,000 (all-in) for full-time employment (38.5 hours/week), with the final offer scalable based on your specific qualifications and experience.
