Are you ready to lead IT in a fast-paced, multi-site winter sports environment?
Join us in Altenmarkt and take charge of keeping our production, warehouse, office, and sales IT services secure, efficient, and future-ready - while leading and inspiring a high-performing, multicultural IT team.
What you will be doing:
Own end-to-end IT operations across all Winter Sports Operations (WSO) sites in Austria, Bulgaria, and Romania.
Ensure stability, security, availability, and resilience of infrastructure and workplace services, in alignment with Group IT standards, security policies, and enterprise architecture guidelines.
Own the full technical lifecycle management of IT services, including infrastructure, workplace, and core platform components.
Ensure stable and secure technical operation of business applications (run), including upgrades, patches, and vendor releases, in close partnership with business application owners.
Ensure structured transition of new solutions from project phase into stable operations, in line with Group IT governance.
Serve as the operational escalation point for major incidents and business-critical disruptions.
Lead, coach, and develop a multicultural, multi-site IT team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
Oversee IT vendors, contracts, SLAs, and service performance to deliver top-quality IT services.
Execute IT security and compliance standards across WSO.
Manage and control the operational IT budget planning, forecasting, ensuring transparency, cost efficiency.
What you need to succeed:
7–10 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or application lifecycle management.
Proven leadership experience in distributed, multicultural teams.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Workplace environments, Linux and Windows server systems.
Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Experience in production-critical or industrial IT environments is a plus.
Relevant IT certifications (infrastructure, service management, cloud, or platform operations) are advantageous.
Fluent in German and English, with strong communication skills across multicultural teams.
Willingness to travel regularly across Europe to support and connect with teams.
Strong problem-solving skills, operational mindset, collaborative leadership style, and a continuous improvement approach.
