Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and own reliable and scalable APIs and services
- Architect high-performance, low-latency, and resilient features and applications
- Lead the technical design and integration of complex third-party systems into our platform, ensuring security and long-term maintainability
- Enhance our deployment strategies using Kubernetes (EKS) and AWS to ensure efficiency and reliability
- Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, and contribute to strategic decisions regarding system architecture and scalability
- Establish and champion best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation
- Mentor trainees, junior and mid-level engineers, conduct code reviews, and act as a technical authority within your team
Your Profile
- Relevant technical education (technical college, university, etc.) or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in backend software engineering, with a proven track record of building complex systems
- Demonstrated expertise in Go and experience with high-performance, distributed systems
- Strong sense of ownership, a proactive mindset, and the ability to drive complex projects from ideation to completion
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders

Salary
Based on responsibilities, qualifications and experience we guarantee a competitive salary between 4,000 € and 6,000 € gross per month (on a 38.5-hour basis) for a Senior Backend Software Engineer.
