Trever is a fast-growing fintech company providing digital asset infrastructure for financial institutions. We’re looking for a Platform Engineer to build the internal “highway” that powers our engineering teams. You don’t just support development, you build the foundation.
Your Mission
- Build the Foundation: Take full ownership of delivering our microservice-based software. You'll design, deploy, and operate the core AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) infrastructure that powers our entire product ecosystem, managing services through their entire lifecycle.
- Automate Everything: Implement and improve our CI/CD pipelines (GitLab). You will develop automation solutions ranging from integration and security testing to infrastructure provisioning (Terraform) and blue/green deployments.
- Enable Total Observability: You will master our monitoring, logging, and alerting stack (Grafana) to ensure that we can see, predict, and fix issues before our users notice them.
- Be the Developer's Champion: Act as the crucial partner for our development team. You will ensure their environments operate at peak efficiency, providing them with the self-service tools, automations, and expert guidance they need to work with confidence and speed.
- Secure the Platform: Embed security and data protection principles into the core of the platform, automating compliance and best practices at every step.
Your Profile
- Proven Platform Expert: You have 2+ years of professional experience as a Platform, DevOps, or SRE Engineer with a relevant technical education (apprenticeship, technical college, university, etc.).
- Cloud Native Fluency: You have a strong passion for DevOps principles and Cloud Computing, with deep, practical knowledge of AWS and the CNCF landscape (Kubernetes is your second language).
- Infrastructure as Code is Your Default: You have battle-tested experience with infrastructure automation tools. You think in Terraform or CDK/Pulumi, and you're an expert with container configuration tools like Helm.
- Master of the Pipeline: You are highly skilled in building and managing modern CI/CD pipelines, especially GitLab CI. You have deep experience deploying and operating container technologies in a production cloud environment.
- An Automator's Mindset: You are a strong programmer/scripter in at least one language (like Go, Python, or TypeScript) used to build powerful tools and automations.
Why You'll Love Working With Us
- Purpose: We are united by a shared passion for shaping the financial market of the future. It’s a commitment you’ll experience every day.
- Flexibility: Enjoy the benefits of flexible working hours and hybrid work options, enabling you to maintain a work-life balance.
- Team Spirit: Our team thrives on mutual support and an open, respectful workplace atmosphere that values each individual’s contributions.
- Fun: From engaging team events to relaxed after-work gatherings, we ensure there’s always room for enjoyment alongside your professional journey.
