Strategic Buyer Non-Food (m/f/d)

As a Strategic Buyer (Non-Food), you will join our team at our headquarters in Salzburg. In this role, you will be responsible for the DACH region, with a primary focus on our German-speaking markets. You will play a key role in driving sourcing strategies, developing supplier partnerships, optimizing procurement costs, and delivering sustainable value across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, qualify, and develop strategic suppliers while continuously optimizing the supplier portfolio
  • Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships to drive innovation, quality improvements, sustainability, and cost competitiveness
  • Conduct regular procurement market analyses and monitor relevant market trends and indices
  • Lead negotiations and conclude framework agreements as well as strategic cooperation contracts
  • Identify and realize cost-saving opportunities through continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
  • Collaborate in cross-functional procurement projects and support strategic business objectives
  • Monitor supplier performance and actively implement supplier development measures to ensure continuous improvement and value creation

Your Profile

  • University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field
  • At least four years of experience in strategic procurement, ideally within the Non-Food and/or Packaging sector
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel
  • SAP experience is considered an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented professional
  • High level of initiative, accountability, and a proactive working style
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build sustainable supplier relationships
  • Team-oriented mindset with excellent collaboration skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for trade fairs and supplier visits (DACH region)

The minimum gross salary for this position is EUR 2,953.06 per month based on full-time employment (38.5 hours per week). Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer a significant overpayment in line with the market and your individual profile.
