Job Description

Want to work with cutting-edge technology and turn ideas into real-world applications? Join our R&D team and help develop and improve advanced testing systems.

You will run experiments, analyze data, and contribute to bringing new technologies into production.

• Ensure stable and reliable operation of electron beam test benches
• Perform and analyze measurements on advanced Multi-Beam mask writer Key components
• Design, set up, and evaluate experiments
• Develop and improve measurement recipes and data analysis tools
• Drive continuous improvement of methods and components, including evaluation and documentation
• Communicate results and insights to stakeholders and management
• Critically interpret and validate measurement results

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Physics
• Experience in designing, setting up, and conducting experiments
• Strong data analysis skills and confidence working with complex datasets
• Hands-on mindset with the ability to work independently and in a structured way
• Solid problem-solving skills and a strong analytical way of thinking
• Ability to critically evaluate results and draw meaningful conclusions
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in a simple way
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate in cross-functional environments
• Very good command of English, German language skills are a plus
• Experience with vacuum systems or particle beam technologies are an advantage
• Programming skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or similar)
• Basic understanding of electronics are a plus

With us you will receive an attractive annual gross salary from 55.000,- EUR (plus bonus, KV Metallgewerbe). Depending on your experience, this can also be higher.
