Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
As a Program Manager, you drive the timely execution and launch of semiconductor products, bridging the gap between small ramp volumes and high-volume manufacturing while meeting customer-specific requirements. You coordinate and execute across various functional organizations, including R&D, quality, supply, and production, and effectively communicate with key customers to ensure successful product ramp-up.
- Execution & ramp Management: Drive the segment's product execution and lead the ramp-up for strategic customers from initial launch to high-volume manufacturing, ensuring seamless scaling and adapting to changing requirements or technical challenges
- Strategy & planning: Define product ramp strategies with cross-functional departments, including product marketing and supply chain organizations, and synchronize ramp strategies with other Product Lines (PLs) to optimize resource allocation and capacity planning
- Customer interface: Act as primary contact for strategic customers, providing regular updates on ramp status and mass production requirements, and clarifying technical and logistical needs
- Crisis & risk management: Lead focus teams to identify and contain risks, manage internal and external stakeholder communication during critical phases, and ensure production targets are met
- Cost & efficiency optimization: Identify and drive cost-down measures, such as yield improvements and in-/outsourcing strategies, in collaboration with specialized organizations to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
- Technology transfers & integration: Act as the Product Line interface for product and technology transfers, ensuring smooth integration of new products into the transfer process and collaborating with relevant stakeholders
Stakeholder collaboration & management: Work within a matrix organization, aligning with various departments, including R&D, Quality Management, Supply Chain, Production, and Marketing, to ensure effective collaboration and communication
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, Economics, or a related field
- Solid understanding of discrete power semiconductor development, manufacturing processes, and the associated supplier/subcontractor landscape, with existing knowledge of and network within
the power semiconductor subcontractor market - 8+ years of proven track record in Program Management, Project Management, Ramp-up / Change Management, RnD, Product Marketing or Technical Marketing with a semiconductor
manufacturing background, and experience with high-voltage applications in automotive or industrial environments - Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive decisive actions,
and influence decisions to build lasting relationships with customers and internal stakeholders - Advanced skills in leading problem-solving efforts for complex technical and non-technical issues
- Excellent English skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear messages for negotiations and executive presentations
- Proactive, self-driven, and entrepreneurial personality with a "get-things-done" attitude, strong stakeholder and relationship management skills, and willingness to travel worldwide
The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group J (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2024.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
