Project Manager “Instrument Development” (w/m/d)

Your contribution

In this strategic role, you will lead complex laboratory instrument and solution development projects for Life Science and Diagnostics – from Project Initiation to Industrialization, Market Launch and Lifecylce Management.

  • Define and build a winning project team with the required cross-functional skill mix and a solution-oriented mindset.

  • Coordination of team members across multiple locations.

  • Planning, staffing and structuring of projects including interfaces to related projects and organizational units.

  • Manage all activities to achieve the overall project targets (time, cost, scope).

  • Through leadership and methodological competence, ensure efficient implementation and adherence to processes, guidelines, and regulations.

  • Ensure proactive and proper stakeholder management and communication to all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrate leadership towards the team and all management levels.

  • Proactively anticipate, identify, mitigate risks, and resolve conflicts in the project team and with stakeholders.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's/Master's or PhD degree in technical or life science

  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management preferably in development of instruments and solutions for Life Science and Diagnostics

  • Experience in leading complex and highly regulated product development projects

  • Value, team, target and solution oriented

  • Self-dependent, independent, efficient and reliable

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • English required; German is a plus. Willingness to travel.

Salary

Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we are obliged to state the minimum monthly salary of EUR 4.819,51 (classification according to the collective agreement of the electrical and electronics industry based on full-time 38.5 hours/week) as a basis for negotiation. A significant overpayment is envisaged depending on training, qualifications, and experience.
