Your Role
You will be the Senior Product Manager for the Kinnovis Platform and Kinnovis Access: Kinnovis Manager, the Booking Portal, the Customer Portal, our Public API and the Access Mobile App. Our product is built by distributed engineering teams across Europe, mainly in Austria and Spain, and this role sits at the centre of it.
You own discovery, requirements and prioritisation for the Kinnovis Platform and Kinnovis Access. You work very closely with two Technical Product Owners, one for the Kinnovis Platform and one for Kinnovis Access, who execute the roadmap you shape. You also partner with our Product Operations Manager, who carries your releases out to customers and internal teams through Intercom product tours, help centre articles and feature training. Day to day you collaborate with our development teams and Product Design, and you report directly to the CTO.
The timing makes this role special. We recently acquired an access control company, and its hardware and software are becoming part of one product. Kinnovis Access is never sold on its own; it only comes in combination with the Kinnovis Platform, which drives its direction. You will shape how product management for the acquired company works and how the two grow into one operator and customer journey: from finding and booking a unit online, through billing and daily operations, to opening the door with a phone.
What you'll do
Product discovery
Run regular interviews with operators and their customers, join sales and research calls and stay close to real facility operations
Turn insights from Intercom, sales and support into validated problems worth solving
Watch competitors and industry trends and feed what matters into the roadmap
Prioritisation & roadmap
Prioritise epics and the high-level backlog based on customer value, business outcomes and effort, together with the Technical Product Owners
Make the roadmap and its reasoning visible across the company
Requirements & delivery
Write clear PRDs with business context, hypotheses and success criteria that designers and engineers can build from
Involve Product Design early and hand over to the dev team with the why, not just the what
Stay available during development to answer questions and make scope calls quickly
Post-release
Measure feature success through adoption metrics, heat-maps, click data and post-release interviews
Feed those learnings back into the roadmap and the next iteration
Cross-functional work
Coordinate releases with sales, marketing and customer success
Manage the knowledge transfer from product and engineering to the sales and CSM teams through regular product demos and training on new features, together with the Product Operations Manager
Work across our distributed engineering teams, championing API-first integration
What you'll bring
Must-haves
5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS
Strong discovery skills: you have run customer interviews, synthesised messy input and turned it into decisions
Sharp written communication; your PRDs and specs need little clarification
Sound prioritisation judgement that balances the economic and the user perspective, including the call to stop investing in something
Experience shaping product strategy and turning it into a clear roadmap
Confidence in communicating and negotiating the roadmap with different stakeholders, from operators to leadership
Ability to organise a roadmap around international customers with different regional needs
Comfort with API-driven products
Technical fluency to negotiate trade-offs and feasibility with engineers
Familiarity with product analytics and feature usage tracking
Excellent communication in English, written and spoken
A self-organised, pragmatic and hands-on way of working
Willingness to be onsite in the Vienna area 1-2 times per week
Nice to have
Experience with operational or vertical SaaS, proptech or self-storage
