Software Development for Signal Processing
(f / m / d) – full-time – location: A-1090 Vienna

YOUR ROLE:

  • Develop and enhance software related to image processing and recognition for security features in banknotes in a team with three friendly colleagues

  • Implement algorithms in C#, in close cooperation with the research team

  • Engage with the mathematical foundation and concepts behind sophisticated algorithms

  • Contribute to a product where software performance and production-readiness are key

  • Help shape a line of products with your ideas

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completed technical education (university, university of applied sciences, technical college in the fields of Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or similar)

  • Keen to work with mathematical concepts and code

  • Experienced with one object-oriented programming language (C++, C#, Java, etc.)

  • Independent, methodical, and motivated attitude

  • Eager to continuously learn new things

  • Good English skills, both written and spoken


BONUS-SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of C# (.NET) and MATLAB

  • Knowledge of software optimization for performance and code size

  • Experience with the software lifecycle, from design to maintenance

  • Worked with modern DevOps tools, like CI/CD pipelines, automated tests …

  • Experience in image processing and/or pattern recognition

  • Command of German Language

Salary

The position offers a gross monthly salary above the collective agreement, starting from €3,500 for junior profiles and from €5,000 for senior profiles, with the possibility of overpayment based on qualifications and experience.
