Software Development for Signal Processing
(f / m / d) – full-time – location: A-1090 Vienna
YOUR ROLE:
Develop and enhance software related to image processing and recognition for security features in banknotes in a team with three friendly colleagues
Implement algorithms in C#, in close cooperation with the research team
Engage with the mathematical foundation and concepts behind sophisticated algorithms
Contribute to a product where software performance and production-readiness are key
Help shape a line of products with your ideas
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
Completed technical education (university, university of applied sciences, technical college in the fields of Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or similar)
Keen to work with mathematical concepts and code
Experienced with one object-oriented programming language (C++, C#, Java, etc.)
Independent, methodical, and motivated attitude
Eager to continuously learn new things
Good English skills, both written and spoken
BONUS-SKILLS:
Knowledge of C# (.NET) and MATLAB
Knowledge of software optimization for performance and code size
Experience with the software lifecycle, from design to maintenance
Worked with modern DevOps tools, like CI/CD pipelines, automated tests …
Experience in image processing and/or pattern recognition
Command of German Language

Salary
The position offers a gross monthly salary above the collective agreement, starting from €3,500 for junior profiles and from €5,000 for senior profiles, with the possibility of overpayment based on qualifications and experience.
