The Lead Quality Specialist (f/m/d) AI creates a Quality culture by driving compliance activities with a strong emphasis on the development and deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. This includes fostering AI applications that support quality both internally and externally, enhancing processes and decision-making across the organization and for customers or partners. Responsible for designated areas of the total quality management system for the business, integrating AI-driven analytics where appropriate, and driving Quality metrics.

Your Tasks:

  • Ensures quality and regulatory compliance while driving process effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Represents GE Healthcare to external agencies and champions the evolution of the quality culture which includes executing and driving quality objectives, metrics, reporting and operating mechanisms.

  • Coordinates cross-functional projects in an international matrix organization within the framework of a global QM system, with a strong focus on production transfers and AI-development

  • Coordinates maintenance and simplification of processes as well as product-related documentation (e.g. work instructions, templates, checklists, etc.) while maintaining the conformity of our processes.

  • Guides employees through the investigation of nonconformities and the development and implementation of effective and compliant solutions within our CAPA system

Requirements:

  • Completed degree with a focus on quality management and/or comparable training/studies

  • Experience in quality management systems and working in a regulated environment (preferably medical technology, medical devices or health quality).

  • Practical experience and application in international quality management systems (with a focus on medical devices preferred).

  • Experience with AI related product development / approval processes.

  • Knowledge of tools for continuous improvement of QMS processes (ideally experience in working with LEAN methods).

  • Practical experience in project management.

  • MS Office skills

  • German fluently, English at minimum level B2

Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

  • Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple priorities and meet required timelines.

Salary

In Austria we are required to state the minimum pay. For this position, the annual compensation package starts at € 65.000. We will be pleased to discuss the appropriate effective salary based on your qualifications and experience.
