RESPONSIBILITIES

PLATFORM ENGINEERING

  • Enhance user experience by providing innovative ways of working, supported by modern cloud applications, connected with tailor-made integration patterns.
  • Elevate the user analytics landscape through the adoption of state-of-the-art technologies combined with custom-designed integration patterns.
  • Stay up-to-date with modern technologies and the latest trends and evaluate potential integration to the Red Bull IT landscape.
  • Ensure the documentation maintenance and effectively onboard colleagues and facilitate a seamless transition of projects to the development team.
  • Contribute to IT landscape design and architecture strategy.
  • Foster continuous process improvement initiatives while ensuring seamless service delivery. Craft detailed team documentation and dynamic presentations to enhance clarity and smart communication.

DATA ENGINEERING

  • Innovate with a collaborative spirit, engaging data scientists, business analysts, and solution architects to refine data requirements, translate them into ELT designs, and shape new data solutions.
  • Drive the implementation, testing, and support of cutting-edge data pipelines, utilizing modern tools and processes to optimize data quality for the development of machine learning models.
  • Pioneer effective techniques for data ingestion, preparation, integration, and operationalization, actively contributing to data compliance and governance efforts.
  • Develop dynamic ELT pipelines leveraging analytics platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and DBT. Elevate your role in shaping the future of data engineering.

STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

  • Cultivate strong collaborations with the IT data science team, data lake house operations, and business units to establish and enhance governance and processes, ensuring responsible tool usage.
  • Establish a seamless synergy with DevOps, MLOps, and BI Engineers to maximize data availability and accuracy.
  • Work closely with solution architecture and data engineers when integrating data provisioned by various data sources (API, Databases, Web portal…) and enable our multiple business counterpart (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations…).

Experience

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

That matter most for this role:

  • University degree in IT or business administration with a focus on computer science, data science, or data engineering.
  • Very good English skills. German is beneficial.
  • Experience of at least 3 years with analytics tools such as Azure Analytics Solutions (Data Factory, Databricks, PowerApps) Alteryx/Trifacta, and our cloud data platform Snowflake.
  • Product mindset, Governance capabilities.
  • Experience with query languages such as SQL, and programming languages (R, Python, Scala).
  • SAP knowledge (BW, HANA, SAC), and Analytics front-end tools (Tableau, PowerBI) is beneficial.
  • Architectural understanding of databases and ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Familiarity with data science and data lake platforms on modern hyperscalers like Azure or AWS.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
  • Travel: 0-10 %

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,392 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
