For our location in Vienna we are looking for a Marketing & Sales Lead Retail who will be part of our dynamic and innovative team. In this role you will report directly to the Commercial Head.
As the Marketing & Sales Lead Retail, you will play a pivotal role in leading a high-performing sales team and drive the annual brand plan development as well as its implementation for the products under his / her responsibility in the country. You will be collaborating closely with the brand team incl. omni-channel and medical manager to shape our brand strategy to ensure excellent sales execution, consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the performance of the allocated brands (Ferinject & influenza vaccines) within the Retail market
- Play a pivotal role in defining and executing the Sales strategy incl. effective leadership of the Retail sales force (people coaching, motivation & development)
- Establish sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), continuously monitoring sales performance, and generating insightful reports to drive decision-making and optimize outcomes
- Training sales force team on strategy, materials and other product-related capabilities as well as providing support for local programs and initiatives
- Manage the annual brand plans and budgets for the products under his / her responsibility in the country
- Develop & implement local brand tactics, incl. prioritizing appropriate targeting, positioning and messaging across all customer segments/persona
- Manages external vendors / agencies and leads day-to-day operational projects
Your Profile:
- University degree required - preferably in economics, business, medicine, or a life science related discipline
- Substantial professional experience in the Austrian pharmaceutical industry (minimum 5 years)
- Demonstrated leadership in managing and motivating sales teams, setting clear objectives, and achieving targets across multiple regions
- Strong track record of strategic and operational planning as well as execution for products promoted in the Retail setting
- Knowledge of the local legal and regulatory landscape
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work with key customers, such as KOLs
- German as native language; professional level in English, both in oral and in written communications
- Ability to travel
What we offer
We offer our candidates an exciting area of responsibility in a global pharmaceutical company. The remuneration is based on an internal company salary schedule and is approximately EUR70,000 gross per year plus a variable portion, depending on education and previous experience. We are offering a flexible and hybrid working model.
