Medical Advisor Oncology (m/f/d)
Temporary position limited for 1 year

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt medical information support, such as research and answering of medical inquiries, and creation/review/approval of local response documents.
• Build trust with external scientific community via peer-to-peer scientific exchange, research and educational collaborations, interactions with scientific societies and health organizations, publications, or other
• Scientifically balanced presentation of up-to-date data and discussion thereof
• Provide therapeutic/functional training to colleagues
• Lead country advisory boards and expert input forums
• Study management of investigator-initiated study proposals
• Successfully collaborate with colleagues of Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, Compliance, Clinical study department
• Represents the Medical Department at local or regional Medical Congresses & Symposia
• Development of the Medical Affairs Plan and implements tactics aligned with the therapeutic area

Qualifications

• Medical Degree, Pharmacist, PhD in a Life Science
• Strong scientific baseline knowledge & passion for the disease area, understanding of clinical trials methods, implementation and interpretation of clinical data, sound scientific and clinical judgment, and eagerness to continue to learn more
• Excellent awareness of the Austrian market as well as an established network of Scientific Leaders in the field is a plus
• Strong, confident and engaging presentation skills
• Strong prioritization skills and ability to understand how decisions fit into the broader context of corporate strategies
• Willingness to travel throughout Austria 40-60% of the time
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to function within a team environment
• Strong customer facing, listening, and probing skills
• A proactive "can do" attitude and passion for the therapeutic areas of interest
• Professional proficiency in German, both verbal and written; additional strong English language skills are required

We offer an attractive salary, outstanding social benefits and an exciting work environment with varied tasks in an international environment. The minimum annual salary for this position is EUR 61.000,- and varies according to the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
