In cooperation with our co-packing partners worldwide you'll be responsible for relevant Supplier Management and Source to Contract aspects with our global raw material and commodity suppliers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT

Assess the relationship

Perform supplier performance management based on KPIs to ensure quality of service

Ensure supplier due-diligence

Manage transition and transformation and drive innovation.

IDENTIFY & QUALIFY NEW SUPPLIERS

Identify, interview and qualify potential new suppliers in order to secure availability and cost-effective sources of raw materials.

Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions of contracts with global suppliers in cooperation with our Co-Packers.

Apply knowledge of auditing supplier risk factors, internal compliance requirements and regulatory requirements to identify and deploy appropriate strategies that aim to reduce and mitigate potential risks associated with a supplier, establishing a secure supply chain

MONITOR & ANALYSE MARKET TRENDS

Monitor and analyse (market) trends in global food & beverage industry

Identify areas for potential improvements and saving

STRATEGIC & TACTICAL PROCUREMENT

Perform market research for products & services as well as global supplier landscape

Develop negotiation strategies for the specific categories

Negotiate prices and conditions

CATEGORY MANAGEMENT

Define category or commodity strategies to optimize business efficiency

Define and segment the spend in categories

Analyze markets based on categories

Proactively identify and validate opportunities and define goals, plans

Ensure the category management process is followed (Opportunity scan, portfolio analysis, etc.)

Experience

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

That matter most for this role:

  • At least 4+ years' experience in procurement
  • Understanding of beverage industry, commodity markets and state of the art procurement processes
  • Ability to drive the delivery of financial, operational and performance objectives against agreed targets
  • Profound negotiation skills and excellent analytical skills
  • Experienced in working within a fast-paced environment, within a global organization
  • Strong working knowledge of contracts
  • High level of personal energy and drive
  • SAP experience desirable
  • Advanced Diploma in Procurement, Degree in Business Administration or proven long term experience on the job
  • Strong communications skills (verbal and written) in English and German
  • 10-20
