Job description

As Senior Staff Sepcialist Funding (f/m/div)* you acquire and manage funded projects in the field of our Industrial Power Control (IPC) division. You identify challenging topics within the Infineon roadmap and use national as well as European networks to leverage funding opportunities. Your challenge is to link funded projects with our internal production activities like process and technology developments as well as projects linked to the digital transformation of our working environment.

In your new job you will:

  • Network within the organization of Infineon to develop innovative, funded projects
  • Be responsible for the holistic and overall handling of respective projects
  • Collaborate with internal and external international project partners
  • Be responsible for reporting and support deliverables
  • Support the execution of project reviews

This position can be filled full time or part time.


You generate value with your ideas and solutions and pursue ambitious goals. You enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams and due to your remarkable networking skills, you are able to quickly establish successful cooperation. You can convince with strong analytical skills, technical knowledge and communicative competence.

You are best equipped for this task, if you:

  • Have an university degree in a technical subject or comparable study
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Bring along first experience in development and management of European and national funding projects are of advantage
  • Have already gained experience in working in technical projects and are able to demonstrate according project management skills
  • Are willing to occasionally travel within Europe
  • Have very good MS office and MS Project skills
  • Speak English and German fluently and have excellent presentation skills

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Angestellte-2022-05-01.pdf). A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
