Our customer, a leading technology company with offices in Europe, USA and Asia, is expanding its team and therefore looking for a dynamic and ambitious person.

Head of Corporate Marketing and Communications (m/f/d)

In this role the Head of Marketing and Communications will lead the corporate marketing activities and support the groupwide initiatives. The position holder acts - supported by its teams - as the lead for all corporate marketing, brand & communication activities and creates the base for sustainable growth and customer-oriented marketing through efficient processes, appropriate structures, and suitable tools.

Tasks:

  • Responsible for the overall group corporate marketing, branding and strategy as well as execution of external communication to advance the company´s position on its markets as well as with its stakeholders
  • Leading and developing the group marketing, branding and communication team
  • Close alignment with C-Level Management
  • Resume group wide responsibility for all corporate marketing, branding and external communication activities as a corporate function as well as for shared service functions
  • Define, implement, and advance group wide marketing standards and marketing operations
  • Establish required levels of competency and governance processes to ensure others can operate independently while adhering to our strict quality standards
  • Play a key role in digital marketing as well as designing and launching lead generation, process, and procedure in close cooperation with product marketing and sales teams throughout the organization
  • Implementation and continuous enhancement of the digital marketing platform and infrastructure
  • Overall responsibility for budget planning, controlling and reporting

Profile:

  • University degree in a commercial field of study
  • Minimum of 12 years of working experience in Marketing & Communications, at least 8 years in a senior management role, leading marketing, branding and communication teams
  • Strong leadership competence and structured, goal-oriented mind-set
  • Business Development / Sales background in a high-tech industry is a plus
  • Developing good business networks within the industry towards press and journalists as well as partners to perform ECO System marketing activities
  • Significant expertise in developing, implementing, and executing a strategic B2B marketing plan, considering the organizations objectives and aspirations when building the full marketing mix
  • Familiar with the specifics of stakeholder management in a corporate, centralized marketing department, regularly aligning strategy and activities with business units
  • Feeling confident when presenting on stage and holding public speeches or lectures at external conferences, fairs, press events etc. on an international level
  • Experience in international tech B2B marketing, ideally in the context of complex high-tech software or electronics products of advantage
  • Profound knowledge of Digital Marketing is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and German
