Job description

In your new role you can choose from two focus topics:

Digital Design Lead

• Lead a team of senior digital design engineers and own the digital design for a product with this team
• Collaboration with the concept team to develop the digital architecture for our future Radar projects
• Be the counterpart for the project manager for planning the design execution and manage deviations actively
• Keep an eye on the adjacent disciplines, especially Digital Functional Verification, Firmware, Component Verification and understand what they need and drive for further improving the cooperation
• Have a look on opportunities for new and differentiating IPs for coming projects, take the chance and go for it

Digital Design Automation Owner

• Drive methodology changes in the area of Digital Design but also in the cross-discipline areas with Analog Design and Firmware Development
• Learn how the team works and support them by transferring tedious manual tasks to an automated setup and thus help them to concentrate on their core tasks
• Keep in touch with the projects to anticipate future needs
• Do hands on: Build prototypes and prove them working with the team

Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Telematics, Mechatronics or similar.
• several years of relevant experience in digital design methodologies and tools
• Excellent knowledge on IC design and verification tools (Cadence, Synopsys)
• Good knowledge of hardware description languages (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog) and Scripting (Python, Bash, …)
• Fluent English skills with German as a plus

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2022.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
