Starting in this role you'll be aware of the latest releases and be able to identify the best-in-class action- and general sport documentaries as well as serialised content suitable for both in-house programming and commercial exploitation. Moreover, you'll be responsible for these projects from start to finish on behalf of Red Bull Studios. You 'll work on several projects in parallel and the level of involvement will vary.
In this role, you'll develop innovative, high-quality long form and serialized productions - of all forms, across all platforms - ensuring they are delivered in line with Red Bull's brand and editorial values. You'll work closely with an international roster of production companies overseeing the production process from the concept phase to delivery.
You'll be able to manage projects while leading them efficiently, negotiate and draft contracts together with our legal team, and create business models for releases that are best suited for commercial exploitation.
To ensure a healthy mix of long-format content for our own platforms, you'll be in contact with content providers and production companies and negotiate and acquire Tentpole content in close coordination with the owned platform programming team.
Another exciting aspect is that you'll be pitching ideas internally to stakeholders as well as to partnerships/co-pros and distribution. You'll ensure effective workflows with other departments such as communications and marketing to ensure transparency and efficiency to enable a successful release of each project.
