Job description

The central function "Procurement" is responsible for Infineon's entire purchasing volume and contributes significantly to the achievement of Infineon's financial targets and growth.

In your new role you will:

  • Define, create and negotiate Silicon Substrate Specifications with suppliers
  • Be responsible for planning and coordination of raw material qualifications within Infineon FE sites
  • Optimize the Silicon substrates with regards to yield, reliability, quality and cost
  • Act as a worldwide and central interface to raw material suppliers and actively drive raw material related topics with suppliers
  • Be in charge of planning and coordination of secure silicon wafer supply for technology transfers between the Frontend sites
  • Contribute to supplier assessment and selection

You demonstrate strong communication skills and know how to establish lasting relationships and networks, focusing your efforts on finding solutions that offer added value for Infineon and for our suppliers and customers. If you feel responsible for your own doing and decisions and ensure high quality by foresighted planning, then you should join our team!

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • a degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering or a similar field of interest
  • knowledge in SiC and/or GaN is a strong plus
  • approx. 1-3 years of experience within the semiconductor or similar industry
  • Project lead experience and project management skills preferred
  • Know-how in silicon wafer production and basic understanding of base material related interactions with device parameters is a plus
  • Fluent English communication skills, German would be a plus

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2021.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
