Job description

In this position, you are responsible for the development of test programs and test hardware as well as debugging on ATE systems. You will work in an international team being responsible for developing and implementing complex procedures for testing chip functionality.

In this job, you will:

  • Be responsible for production test, qualification and characterization
  • Define, implement and document test cases in close cooperation with other product development departments (system architecture, application engineering, IC design) and production sites
  • Acting as an expert for high parallel testing and test methodology improvement
  • Optimize test methods to improve quality and efficiency
  • Actively contribute to the test concept and test specification

Test Development Engineer

Profile

You are passionate about innovation and demonstrate strong communication skills. As a true team player, you treat your colleagues with respect and trust. You can convince with a structured and precise way of working and a strong focus on quality.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A university master degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable education
  • 5+ years of relevant professional semiconductor experience
  • Solid ATE experience on standard platforms such as Teradyne and Advantest
  • Solid understanding of analog/RF circuit design
  • Advanced programming and scripting know-how
  • Analytical skills with confident communication capability
  • Working proficiency in English, German skills as a plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, at least employment group I (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
