Senior Finance Systems Manager (m/f/d)

The Group Accounting department is responsible for the preparation of the Group's financial information, from accounting and all embedded processes to reporting both internally and externally, at the consolidated financial IFRS statements, and the individual legal entities local level. The department defines the group-wide accounting standards according to both IFRS and local accounting standards and is responsible for ensuring that these standards are implemented in the group-wide ORACLE ERP system and processes. System support and implementation of new applications and functionalities is guaranteed by the Senior Finance Systems Leader/Manager as well as the improvement and definition of accounting processes in Oracle and the reductions of manual transactions globally.

Your responsibilities:

  • Improve the systems
  • Project management and cooperation in strategic projects for the further development of ORACLE ERP, in the integration of new group companies and in the introduction or expansion of automation solutions in accounting
  • Independent redefinition of accounting processes in Oracle for the reduction of manual transactions and the management of those
  • Development / maintenance of internal ERP reports
  • Support in the coordination and interfacing with non-Oracle systems
  • Support and drive future Oracle ERP roll-outs to new companies
  • Review access rights methodology and put in place adequate monitoring
  • Interact and coordinate
  • Interface responsibilities with other business functions / including master data management teams and SSC team in Hungary
  • Build, coordinate and develop the Oracle key user community
  • Manage a small team to support the Group's ERP
  • Constant dialogue with all stakeholders to ensure the smooth implementation of identified improvement measures
  • Close cooperation with the central IT department, the other finance teams, the accounting employees in the subsidiaries and the shared service center in Budapest
  • Maintain the system and ensure operations
  • Ongoing maintenance of the FCCS, general ledger and subledger structures (GL, cost centers, tax keys, profit centers, considering the relevant validation rules, etc.)
  • Ongoing maintenance of the financial reports according to IFRS and local accounting
  • Ongoing maintenance and improvement of ORACLE booking templates
  • Support of the monthly technical closing
  • Ensuring that there are no reconciliation differences between the general ledger and sub-ledger
  • Organizing and conducting internal training e.g. for new employees, for updates or technical changes or for the best possible use of the ERP possibilities

Your qualifications:

  • Completed studies in business information technology / management studies with a focus on finance and accounting
  • Strong experience in setting up and operating an ORACLE ERP from a finance and accounting perspective - ideally accountant
  • Sound experience in accounting, financial reporting, quarterly and annual financial statements; Knowledge of local tax principles (e.g. corporate income tax, VAT)
  • Professional experience in a multinational organization with a thorough understanding of global process and transaction processes and the management of cross-functional projects
  • Confident demeanor when working with executives to achieve business goals
  • Good written and spoken English knowledge
  • Good experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in a listed group is an advantage

The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 3.765,45 gross per month (x14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
