Job description

In your new role as System Engineer for Mixed-Signal IP's and IO components you will:

  • Define the Standard I/O's, Pads, Ports and the pad frame of our next hybrid microprocessor/ microcontroller product generation
  • Provide the concept for top level analog-mixed-signal IP SoC integration and ensure optimized (time to market, area, costs) implementation of both analog signal and power routing
  • Transfer application & system requirements to our development teams and implement product relevant application requirements in a system architecture concept for the analog-mix-signal IP's in context of IO's, SoC IP's (e.g. voltage regulators, temp-, voltage supply-monitors) as well as its infrastructure and design for test
  • Be the interface between our application engineering and development teams and drive active knowledge transfer
  • Bring the customer, design & platform teams together and provide the path to a common decision making process
  • Act as an entrepreneur you ensure that the teams work on analog-mixed signal topics that matter for our customer and Infineon
  • Closely cooperate with technical marketing team, platform lead architects, system architects, SW development, design teams, and other business lines within Infineon
  • Modeling capability allows to transfer theoretical concept in a reference for further development
  • Own and create technical documentation in order to provide the requested functional descriptions and documents to guarantee the ISO26262 compliance - Impart implementation knowhow to others

Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A degree in electrical engineering or a similar field
  • At least 5 years of relevant work and p roject experience in analog/mix-signal circuitries
  • Profound familiarity with automotive microcontrollers and open eyes & ears for market trends
  • Relevant skills in software development based on C
  • Knowledge in ESD/latch-up, EMC/EMI, packaging/assembly (Wire Bond, Flip Chip, thermal management), Power & Signal Integrity (e.g. XTALK as well as Power Distribution Network dynamic and static Voltage drop analysis)
  • Knowledge in Automotive qualification with scope on mixed signal design (e.g. reliability & aging effects)
  • Knowhow in system modeling based on Matlab/Simulink programming language
  • Knowledge of register transfer level, ASIC/ASSP design and IBIS Models
  • Excellent English communication skills and ideally a good command of German

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment in Austria is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
