What's the role?

We are looking for a highly motivated student (f/m/d) to join our testing & development team in Lanzenkirchen near Vienna. In this role you will support our Development Engineers, Technical Project Leaders and Testing Team in ongoing projects, with main focus on product testing and CAD-modelling.

This will give you the opportunity to see inner workings and processes of a multinational matrix organization. In this role you will work 20-25 hours a week with main focus on our advanced product development.

Start date is flexible to your availability (ideally from Aug/Sep 2021).

What does the role involve?

In this role, you will support the Development Team and the Testing Team in ongoing projects, with main focus on testing and on 3D modelling and drafting. Your main tasks in the Development Team will be the product documentation, CAD and PDM-System administration, updating and correcting of existing product 3D models and drawings and supporting in FEA analysis (Ansys). In the Testing Team you will be supporting on all tests. From performing tensile tests on assemblies for the creation of technical load data to the execution of initial sample inspections, and handling tests for product releases.

What you need is:

  • You are a Master student in mechanical engineering, materials science, mechatronics or any similar fields
  • You have ideally knowledge in the field of testing and qualification of products as well as a solid understanding for metal and plastic processing
  • You have solid proven CAD knowledge and you are proficiency in MS Office
  • You have strong analytical and conceptual skills and a highly goal-oriented approach as well as a open personality with a strong hands-on and self-driven mentality
  • You have a distinct ability to work in a team in an interdisciplinary and international environment
  • You have strong communication skills in English, other languages are a plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for employees in metal trade, employment group III which states a minimum salary of EUR 2.138,66 per month - gross (full-time). The monthly salary for part-time employees depends on the weekly working hours.
