Training Coordination Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Training Coordination Manager (m/f/d) to develope and establish our Building Solutions Campus - a training facility for our customers as well as internal stakeholders, where we are going to provide the knowledge and expertise for targeted Building Solutions eco-system. As Training Coordination Manager you are planning training programs based on business needs, are responsible for managing, designing, developing, coordinating and partly also conducting training programs. Our ideal candidate has strong experience in this area and is familiar with various training methods and e-learning tools.

Your location will be Ybbs an der Donau (AT) and you will be working in Wood Products Division. You will report to our Head of Building Solutions Product Development.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Conduct Building Solutions-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
  • Map out training plans for selected target groups
  • Design and develop training programs (outsourced and/or in-house)
  • Select appropriate training methods or activities (e.g. online, in-class,…)
  • Use known education principles and stay up-to-date on new training methods and techniques
  • Design, prepare and order educational aids and materials
  • Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session
  • Manage quarterly and annual training budgets
  • Host train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
  • Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
  • Research and recommend new training methods, like gamification
  • Research and benchmarking in order to find best practices (focus on construction industry)
  • Contribute in your role to potential customer- and internal events

  • This is an information for Austria as required by law. A performance-related salary based on your qualifications, professional experience and market value. The monthly gross salary for this position is minimum EUR 3.500,00, plus a variable component .The willingness to significantly overpay depending on qualifications and professional experience is expressly given.


  • Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator or similar role
  • In-depth understanding of traditional and modern training methods (including workshops, simulations, e-learning)
  • Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting
  • Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools
  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
  • BS degree in Education, Training, HR or related field
  • Strong customer centricity
  • Highly self-motivated and experienced in formulating project plans and realize them (in time and in budget)
  • Getting things done
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German and
  • Communicative,open minded, creative and team-oriented personality
  • Capability to work in international teams and independently
