Job description

In your new role you will:

  • Work with the team to service the database infrastructure (installation, backup, monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrades, migrations) and our users (tickets)
  • Support our internal customers with problem solving and projects
  • Develop and support our automated IT processes, in self-service platforms and database infrastructure deployment
  • Collaborate with the global team and with other IT teams
  • Participate in on-call service in the course of database operation (follow the sun)

Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • University degree or comparable experience in computer science/software development
  • Experience with databases (SQL - Oracle, MySQL, ...) and/or knowledge in software development with web-technologies (any of python, shell, php, javascript, REST)
  • Optimally experience with unix/linux operating systems
  • Excellent German and English skills
  • Open to work with different cultures and departments around the world

We are looking to fill this position through one of our partners. A valid Austrian work permit is a prerequisite. Our partner offers a payment of 2.896,77 EUR (gross) per month (14 times p.a.) according to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
