Job description

In your new job you will:

• Define next generation GaN integrated and discrete products for DCDC applications
• Capture product requirements based on application trends and needs
• Work collaboratively with the different stakeholders during the whole development phase of new GaN integrated devices (Technology development, Quality, Product Marketing, System Application, etc.)
• Keep development projects on track, verify and ensure target specification meeting
• Contribute to the product roadmap within application engineering and in close collaboration with the marketing team
• Benchmarking and positioning of next generation ICs and power technologies vs. competitors and Infineon former generations
• Create product related collaterals and technical support materials, from datasheets to application notes

Profile

With your proactive and analytical working style, you are able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced, lean environment while maintaining high quality standards. As challenge-driven character, you act innovation and result-oriented and are capable to resolve technical issues independently until completion. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as your strong team player mindset support you in your work within interdisciplinary and multicultural teams.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A university Ph.D. or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable, with a focus on power electronics
• 3+ years of relevant working experience including experience with:
• Power ICs and devices: Power MOSFETs, Gate drivers design, development and testing
• GaN technologies
• A strong understanding of the power components' parameters influence in the application
• Excellent English skills
• Strong team player mindset with good communication and interpersonal skills

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G-H (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
