Project Management Office Director - Expatriation Shanghai (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Plan, set up and monitor budgets and process compliance
• Report project status, establish safety dashboard and utilize unified dashboards
• Provide and maintain tools, ensure roll-out and unified usage, for defects, budgets, requirements and change management
• Manage project-level department inter-communication between Engineering, Sales, Finance, HR, TTTech
• Ensure Project Management excellence for the PM team
• Establish and manage Wiki/Knowledge Base and Lessons Learned pages
• Interface between TTTech PMO and Technomous PMO, transfer best practices
• Manage and moderate project task forces together with TPM
• Establish, maintain and improve the customer interface and communication
• Identify, assign PM to customer project in agreement with R&D director
• Manage the PM team and help continuously improving each individual's performance and professional well-being
• Safeguard and continuously improve excellence of the PM team
• Together with R&D director, ensure achieving respective ASPICE and/or CMMI level maturity
• Be the main project status L1 escalation interface for the customer
• Provide WoW and templates, process descriptions for safety compliance

Your Profile

• Understanding of Automotive or similar industrial development processes
• Willingness to work up to 9 months in Vienna/Austria and then relocate to Shanghai/China
• Experience in managing and leading intercultural teams
• University degree or PhD in a technical field of study (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar)
• Several years of project management and technical customer service experience, ideally in the automotive sector and the embedded software domain
• Experience with quality- and safety- standards (e.g., Automotive SPICE, ISO26262 or similar standards from other industries) is a must
• Proactive personality with excellent communication skills and a high customer orientation
• Good sense of prioritization and time management
• Good presentation skills to provide timely project status reports
• Good analytical skills to model resource and budget forecasting
• Excellent command of English, German and/or Chinese language is a plus
• Willingness to travel up to 25 %

Your performance is remunerated with an attractive and market-compliant salary. The position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe) and we provide a minimum salary of 70.000,- Euro gross per year. Naturally, we offer an overpayment based on your previous experience and qualifications.
