Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the Paysafe Group agenda within eCash, ensuring local processes and tools are aligned and with Group and that all processes are scalable to support future growth
  • Provide strategic & advisory support to the business to ensure Compliance with applicable laws and regulations in various jurisdictions
  • Serve as a single point of contact for Compliance advisory for the eCash (Paysafecard) business, providing guidance on Compliance requirements
  • Work closely with eCash to understand their business model, software tools, and products so as to be able to advise them on how best to implement Compliance requirements
  • Identify opportunities to enable our business through better and more efficient compliance with external requirements
  • Work with other Compliance Officers to promote best practices across the Paysafe Group
  • Review current status of Compliance to external requirements (deriving from regulation, banks, or other payment partners) in the eCash business and identify areas where efficiency improvements are possible
  • Work with the Director of Business Advisory and with the Compliance Project Manager to define projects
  • Maintain visibility of all areas of Compliance within eCash and monitor implementation of projects
  • Act as liaison with PMO, Product, Risk, the Business, and other Compliance teams to ensure requirements are fully understood and delivered
  • Coordinate with Regulatory Compliance and with Card Scheme Compliance to fully understand existing and upcoming requirements and their impact on business units

Your Qualification:

  • At least 5 years of experience and advanced practical knowledge of anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing Compliance
  • Relevant Legal, Risk, Compliance experience within Financial Services or banking; experience in online, digital FinTech organizations is preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of European and UK regulation on AML and CTF including KYC, KYB, SAR & Sanctions.
  • Experience working holistically across multiple aspects of Compliance & advising businesses on Compliance matters
  • Ability to manage numerous tasks & projects simultaneously & ensure delivery within deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate effectively & work cross-functionally across global teams
  • Excellent organizational & communication skills
  • Ability to influence + persuade senior stakeholders and ensure Compliance to policies Great interpersonal skills, self-motivated, solutions oriented
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision & strong sense of responsibility
  • Fluency in German is an advantage
