Regulatory Reporting Intern (m/f)

Job Summary

Do you have a demonstrable interest in gaining practical job experience within the banking sector regarding Regulatory Reporting and/or are you studying in the fields of Business Management, Banking or Financial Institutions?

You will be supporting the unit in ensuring that correct group & solo regulatory reporting is performed on time. You will learn how to structure and analyze data in different sources, observe corresponding regulatory rules and learn how to correctly finalize the reports. As an intern you will also support new initiatives, reviewing new requirements and actively support coordination (if required) with other departments in the whole group. Furthermore, all ad hoc tasks are a key part of the day-to-day job.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

• Support in preparing and validating regulatory reports
• Support in working on complex data using different databases to help in producing correctly structured reports and performing required external regulatory analyses
• Interact with other departments on cross-departmental issues
• Support in cooperating with external and internal audit, in different regulatory projects (e.g. TreBO), in analysing complex regulatory requirement. Follow all changes in a proactively and anticipatory manner
• Support with performing testing activities for new software releases relevant for regulatory reporting (e.g. Svenson, CBS, ATDP) and in proper documentation of all process steps incl. sets-up controls. Update guidelines when needed
• Support bank-wide projects that were agreed to be covered by Reg Reporting resources

Your Profile

• Active student at a university or business school with relevant specialization
• English is a must, ideally German (if focus on Solo regulations), MS Excel, MS Access, MS SQL Server, Svenson or other reporting tools nice to have
• Know-how and experience in working with data and databases, analytical skills, experience of regulatory reports, understanding of accounting
• Open-minded about all kind of tasks and willing to work on all subjects required
