At the current size of the organization and specifically at the size of the product and engineering team, the area of your responsibilities is quite broad and ranges from working with management to create product plans and roadmaps to coordinating engineers and supporting them in the daily business.

  • Work with management on refining your product's strategy and developing roadmaps
  • Create and review product specification documents
  • Work with other departments like operations, support, marketing or legal to ensure that their feedback and product requirements are included in the roadmap
  • Monitor and report already specified KPIs to management (might require to build a dashboard for it)
  • Provide vision and direction to the development team and stakeholders throughout the project
  • Know how to scope features as small as possible to ship them early and use the feedback of our users (also scheme members and other stakeholders) to iteratively improve the product
  • Ensure that the engineering team always has an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on. Therefore, groom and prioritize the backlog, assess and prioritize bugs for your development team.
  • Work with our development team and support it in its daily operations (building & testing features and bugs)
  • Plan and manage product releases
  • Question the status quo and come up with new ideas

Your profile:

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on mentality, stress resistance and passion to solve big challenges in a simple way
  • Ability to understand stakeholder's needs and turn it into well-structured and clear user stories and specifications
  • Understand complex technical architectures of modern web and mobile applications
  • Strong product manager with a proven track record of delivering world-class products; experience in leading cross-functional project teams in an agile environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Be able to think highly analytical and creative and combine both
  • Experience in a FinTech startup is a plus

Our Offer:

Some of our perks include

  • 25 days of holiday
  • Working remotely & having flexible hours (also the possibility to work from one of our offices in Vienna or Innsbruck)
  • Monthly 1on1s

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for IT-Service (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte IT-Dienstleistung). We remunerate your performance with a minimum salary of 50,000.- Euro gross per year.

Salary depends on experience, but we don't want you to worry about earning more elsewhere, so we pay what you would get at a non-remote job in European Tech Hubs.

If the above sounds good and you'd like to join and help us create the user experience our users deserve & build some great products, then apply here for this position. Our interview process looks like this:

  • Application review and short call
  • Small application task - Write down user stories for a well-defined project
  • General Interview - Talking about the task, technical & behavioural questions (roughly 1 hour)
  • General Interview with our CEO
  • Offer & Reference checks
