We're looking for a Senior Knit Wear Designer with high-end taste to design best knit wear products for a world-class fashion market.

RESPONSIBILITIES

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

DESIGN

In this role you'll be designing knit wear for both, men and women, covering knit clothes and knit accessories. A vital part of your role will be trend research in the high-end fashion market to constantly develop the design technicality by working together with external development partners. Moreover, we'll trust you with researching on yarn and dealing with its suppliers.

TECHNIQUES

In your role you'll create technical sketches of knit wear and establish tech packs for production. Furthermore, you'll elaborate the concept and will be in charge of designing the regular collection and capsule drops.

3D KNIT

An important aspect of this role will be the development of 3D knit. You'll be driving 3D knit wear in its design and functionality and the development process of its garments.

Experience

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

That matter most for this role:

• 6+ years' experience in knit design for Men and Women (normal and 3D knit)
• Very good technical understanding of knitwear workmanship
• Project based innovation development
• Technical and functional design skills
• Knowledge in yarn types and its suppliers
• Very good Adobe suite skills
• Flexible and adaptable attitude with good time management and leadership skills
• High end taste
• University degree in fashion design
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
• Travel up to 10%
